Frequently Asked Questions about Hockey Camp

What makes the Individual hockey camp different?

We offer two different camp formats, and both are highly popular among players, goalies and adult amateur players. Each camp has its own advantages and loyal participants who return year after year.
The Individual hockey camp is designed for players who want maximum personal attention and intensive skill development. The program includes 2 ice sessions per day and off-ice training, with a unique 1 coach for every 2 participants training ratio.
The regular hockey camp combines skill development with a more traditional team atmosphere. It includes 3 ice sessions per day, off-ice training and a five-day NHL-style tournament that serves as the third daily ice session. Training groups are organized with a maximum ratio of 1 coach for every 5 players. Accommodation and full board are included in the regular hockey camp fee for all participants.
Both camp formats are suitable for players and goalies of all ages and skill levels, including adult amateur players.

Can parents stay in the camp Hotel?

Parents and accompanying family members can stay in the camp hotel together with the participants, either in the same room or in separate rooms. The camp Hotel is a 4-star hotel located in the city center and within walking distance of the ice rink. Accommodation for parents costs €45 per person per night including breakfast. Simply indicate the number of accompanying persons in the registration form, and we will arrange the hotel booking automatically. Additional nights can also be booked if needed.

What language is used during the hockey camp?

Our camp is international, and every year we welcome players from many different countries. We have many years of experience working with international participants. Coaches demonstrate all drills and exercises directly on the ice, making them easy to understand regardless of language. All coaches speak English and Czech, and some coaches also speak German, French & Italian. Language barriers are not an issue, and players quickly adapt to the international atmosphere of the hockey camp.

Is transfer to the camp available?

If necessary, we can meet you at Prague Airport and bring you directly to the camp. The transfer price is €50 one way per vehicle from Prague Airport. One vehicle can accommodate up to 3 guests. If a larger vehicle is required, we can arrange a minibus upon request. To arrange a transfer, please send all details in one WhatsApp +420 773 266 781 message: arrival date, time, flight number, number of passengers, names of all guests and a contact phone number.

When does the hockey camp start and end?

Registration takes place on the first day of the camp between 9:00 and 11:00. A meeting follows at 11:00, and the training program begins immediately on that day. On the final day, the training program finishes around 13:00. We will send all additional information, final schedules and organizational details approximately one month before the start of the hockey camp.

Can parents watch the training sessions?

Parents are welcome to watch training sessions from the spectator area of the ice rink and are free to take photos and videos for personal use. We kindly ask parents not to attract the players’ attention during training, call them over or shout instructions from the stands, so that all participants can fully focus on the coaches and the training program.

Can parents train together with their children?

If you and your kid love hockey and would like to spend an active week together, you can both participate in our hockey camp.
Your son will train in his own age and skill group, while you will join the adult amateur group. Adult participants must have their own complete hockey equipment.
This allows both of you to enjoy professional hockey training at your own level while sharing the same camp experience. The program is suitable for adult recreational players who want to stay active on the ice while their children participate in the camp.

Do you provide hockey equipment rental?

All participants must bring their own complete hockey equipment.
Hockey equipment is highly individual, and for reasons of comfort, safety and proper fit, we do not provide rental equipment.
As a useful travel tip, many participants attach their hockey stick to their equipment bag with tape so that both items appear as a single piece of luggage. In many cases, airlines accept this as one checked item.
